Permaculture Introduction
This 2-day intensive is a great way to gain an overview of Permaculture as a design system. The course is made up partly of theory, practicals, and immersion in permaculture ethics and principles as they are applied from the design phase to execution at Kalipay Wellness Center.
The topics include:
– What is permaculture?
– Permaculture ethics and design principles
– Designing with permaculture zones and sectors
– Energy and nutrient cycling
– Social permaculture
– Practical ways to start applying permaculture in daily life
About the Teacher:
Penelope earned her Permaculture design certificate under the mentorship of Geoff Lawton in 2014. Since then, she has co-created 3 permaculture projects in the Philippines and also provided consultancy and design services in Luzon and Palawan. She is currently focusing on the patterning and fine-tuning of the energy cycling within Kalipay Wellness Center.
