SKEMA Energy Training

SKEMA energy training includes Tai Chi and SKEMA Chi Kung (Qi Gong).

Tai Chi (Taiji) is meditation in motion. It grants the hunted spirit rest and brings it into the “here and now”. This mindfulness makes you feel your body more intensely again. Tai Chi is the ideal way to balance stress in everyday life and noticeably increase your zest for life.

SKEMA Chi Kung (Qi Gong) is breathing training, energy generation, and relaxation in a gentle and harmonious way. The energizing and gentle exercises strengthen the psychological resistance and result in a good attitude towards life, vitality, and well-being: Homemade “wellness” in the best sense of the word.

In the training, as with any physical activity, the muscles and tendons are strengthened, and movement coordination and balance are practiced. This happens through the slow and controlled execution in Tai Chi (Taiji), which is particularly easy on the joints and balanced. The correct execution of the movements and positions trains the deep-lying muscles of the torso and the joints. Incorrect stress on the body, e.g. from everyday office life, is compensated and corrected.

Movement and breathing mutually influence physical well-being, digestion, emotions, and thoughts. With targeted postures and harmonized breathing, blood circulation in individual body regions is briefly increased. This relieves tension not only in the postural muscles, but also in the diaphragm, and activates internal organs and endocrine glands. The flow of information is set in motion and energy and health are increased. This also prevents burnout. In the training, Ta Kuen Tao Chi Kung with and without an energy pipe, breathing and meditation exercises, and simple massage techniques are also practiced. Individual challenges (back pain, burnout, knees, headaches, blood pressure, etc.) are also addressed with special exercises. The health-preserving effects of Tai Chi and Chi Kung are well known and accepted. This prevents the natural ailments that come with age. The training does not require any prior knowledge and can be practiced anytime, anywhere, even into old age.
