It was a magical healing afternoon as 25 people gathered to celebrate the opening of the Mountain Temple at Kalipay Wellness Center. The event started with a SKEMA ChiKung introduction and sampler by Markus Buhlmann. It was later followed by a brief orientation on BodyTalk energy medicine by Penny Reyes. And towards the end, agnihotris – Penny, Terry, and Fiona, performed Agnihotra, which is a healing fire from the ancient science of Ayurveda. It is a process of purifying the atmosphere through a specially prepared fire performed at sunrise and sunset daily. This process, which is also called Homa Therapy, purifies the mind, opens the heart, and detoxifies the body.
All in all, it was a healing experience for everyone who was present.
